What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and optimize AWS and Google Cloud environments
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
• Utilize RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, ELK, Redis, and Nginx
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems, particularly CentOS
• Implement and maintain load balancing, clustering, and virtualization (VmWare)
• Script and automate tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Use log management and SIEM tools such as Splunk or ELK Stack
• Implement web application firewalls (WAFs) and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

What Skills & Experience You’ll Bring

• General experience as a DevOps Engineer (5+ years)
• Extensive experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud (4+ years)
• Proficiency in RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, ELK, Redis, Nginx
• Experience with Terraform (1+ year)
• Strong knowledge of Linux (CentOS especially), OSI model, load balancing, clustering, and virtualization (VmWare)
• Experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines and GPC
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with log management and SIEM tools like Splunk or ELK Stack
• Experience with web application firewalls (WAFs) and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2
• Experience with Git, including branching, rebasing, and GitFlow-like workflows
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Working proficiency in English

Additional Information

• Location: Bucharest, Romania (Remote position available)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9-18
