What you will do 

• Build and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Adopt best practices for configuration management, system upgrades, monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Streamline our CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes.
• Develop scripts and other automation to streamline operations.
• Work with the software engineering team to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure design, practices, and procedures.
• Support SRE engineers during production deployments.
• Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team, contribute to continuous improvement of our infrastructure development and release processes

Main requirements:

• 2+ years of development and/or DevOps automation experience in Azure or AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience developing infrastructure as code and automating with Terraform.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with container deployment architecture of Kubernetes and helm-charts.
• Production experience developing, configuring, and supporting monitoring systems, alerting and analytics.
• Proficient verbal and written English

Our preferred requirements:

• Experience configuring CI/CD (GitLab CI) and automating workflows,
• Administration of databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience in creating technical documentation
• Experience in Agile delivery and Scrum methodology

Scrum team structure: Lead, 2 Front End Devs, 2 Back End Devs, 1 Manual QA, 1 Automation QA, Product Owner.

Covantis team: 80+ people
