Head of Engineering for German Startup

Flash is a Berlin based and venture backed startup. They were founded very recently (October 2021) and at the moment have a team of 5 engineers. We're now willing to scale and build a whole technical team. Right now we`re only an MVP with an iOS app, and alongside with scaling and developing it we want to build a web app.

We are looking for a Head of Engineering that will help lead us through the early stages of growth and drive the overall direction of our technology.

Working Conditions: remote. Flexible working hours. No time trackers. All necessary hardware is provided.


Team: currently there are Tech lead, 2 Senior iOS engineers and Full Stack Engineer on the project.

Core requirements:

-experience working on high pressure (startup background is preferred)

-excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design

-experience in building and managing teams

-B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

-fluent English
