Responsibilities and Duties
● Build and lead a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development
● Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects
● Design and challenge architectural decision
● Lead the development of both: backend and cross-platform and cross-platform client
● Motivate and develop your team to achieve high productivity and morale
● Lead technical initiatives in the R&D unit
● Identify projects risks and manage them
● Coordinate cross-functional teams on the delivery of new product features
● Support the team and create a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities
● Introduce and sustain development processes aimed at high quality and efficiency
● Recruit and lead scrum teams from an engineering perspective
● Responsible for work standards and tools across all disciplines in the R&D and testing units, setting coding review standards and testing standards
● Responsible for the production environment
Requirements
● At least 6 years of professional software development experience
● At least 4 years in a people and/or team management
● Solid knowledge and experience in software development life cycle
● Be an expert in at least one of the following technologies: Java, .NET, Unity3D
● Experience with back-end development of real-time web services
● Experience with leading and development team of at least 5+ people
● Experience in coaching and mentoring engineers
● Problem solving skills, keeping overview with an eye for detail
● Pro-active ‘can do’ mentality
● Good spoken and written English
Will be a plus
● Experience with Unity3D or CocosJS client development
● Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
● Experience with NoSQL Databases
● Experience with Angular front-end development
● Experience with Java development
