Backend Engineer for Music AI Startup

Enote is a Berlin based startup founded in 2018, and the iOS app released 2 years ago. We have a flat hierarchy and are a founder-led startup. We are trusted by investors and last year we were selected to receive a 2 million euro in grant funding from the European Union Innovation Council. Enote is a music technology startup using artificial intelligence to bring the world’s sheet music into a fully digital format.

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer ready to join our effort and help us build the foundation of our solution – a scalable backend capable of handling thousands of simultaneous users by means of the latest cloud technologies.

Core requirements:

5+ yoe in developing and maintaining cloud services in Python (FastAPI, Flask or Django) or NodeJS (Express, Hapi, Restify and/or NestJS) services
hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
practical experience with Docker
Good understanding and practical experience with Linux command line
experience with writing efficient SQL and data organization (PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB)
practical experience with Elasticsearch used as a search engine

Working Conditions: the position is fully remote since the office is available only in Berlin. The schedule implies flexibility and you work independently in terms of working hours, but you have to be able to attend daily meetings. Since we don't have an office and entity in your location to date, it is a contractor (service-provider) position and you`ll be paid by invoice.
