INDIGO Tech Recruiters History

We emerged from three global crises no worse for wear, trained 240 specialists, and gathered over 25,000 people at our speaker sessions and training events. The companies we source tech talent for work in all kinds of fields: from digital marketing and all the way to the space industry.

2007

INDIGO was founded that year, its name reflecting our vision of the people of the future as the best version of humanity: indigo children gifted with unique abilities. These are precisely the kind of employees our clients want to find—talented people with superpowers. Now, the employees who can change the world for the better and achieve great success are called A-players.

2010

We helped two Israeli companies—Matrix Global and Wix—open offices in Ukraine. Also, there was a lot of very, very, very hard work done at that stage.

2017

That year, we held four TruKyiv anti-conferences for tech recruiters, carried out the rebranding, updated our logo and website, filled the first thousand vacancies for our clients, and expanded their geography to 26 countries. All that time, we kept sharing our experience—and our articles were read 665,000 times.

2008

We survived the first global crisis, which hit the labour market with massive job cuts. Here, two important decisions were made: to specialize in IT and to go remote.

2013

Our IT Recruiting School was launched—the first offline school of its kind in the CIS. Also, we did our first salary reviews and provided labour market analytics for Oracle.

2020

We filled the first 200 C-Level vacancies for our clients. Our reviews of C-Level salaries in IT were read 65,370 times. We endured the COVID-19 crisis and even managed to attract new clients. Among those was Vimeo, for which we recruited 20 people, including a Country Manager. Also, that year saw our values and positioning take final shape.
