Senior Product Manager (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Kotlin Multiplatform technology enables efficient code reuse across multiple platforms, supporting the development of applications for operating systems such as iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux, and more, while preserving the advantages of native programming. We believe this technology is set to become a key choice for cross-platform development, and we're seeking an experienced senior product manager to join the team and take ownership of this innovative product.

Our ideal candidate would have:

5+ years of product management experience.
A deep understanding of product metrics and strong research skills.
Experience in software development. Cross-platform development experience and knowledge of modern frameworks such as SwiftUI, Flutter, or React would be a huge plus.
Familiarity with programming languages and modern software development practices.
Experience working in a highly technical domain.
Readiness to learn Kotlin and become an active user.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in English with strong spoken and written communication skills.

In this role, you will:

Define and own the long-term product vision.
Develop strategies for different parts of the product to achieve the vision.
Prepare a monetization strategy for the product.
Improve activation and long-term retention of the product.
Discover new market niches where the product can grow.

As part of our team, you will:

Define and implement a product vision and strategy aligning with the company’s goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap that addresses short- and long-term product goals.
Define target audiences and value propositions for them.
Define and own the needed product-related OKRs.
Identify product metrics needed for monitoring success and data-driven decisions.
Extensively interact with users to identify their needs, problems, and ways to solve them.
Conduct UX and market research to gain insights and make informed decisions.
Generate, prioritize, and test hypotheses, sometimes using out-of-the-box methods.
Build from scratch and incrementally improve the product development process.
Work closely with developers, analysts, technical writers, developer advocates, and marketing and product managers across JetBrains to deliver needed features to users.
Cooperate with the authors of third-party libraries, frameworks, and tools.
Cooperate with partners (e.g. Google) to align development efforts.
