The company operates with a lean international team and is investing in scaling both its product portfolio and marketplace operations.

They are looking for a Category Merchant who will take ownership of one of their largest product categories and drive its commercial performance.

About the role

This is not a Catalog Specialist or Listing Manager position.

You will own a product category as if it were your own business, making commercial decisions that directly influence sales, profitability, inventory health, and marketplace growth.

You'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams while having real ownership over category performance.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor daily marketplace performance, including pricing, Buy Box, inventory levels, listing health, and competitor activity.
  • Make pricing and inventory decisions to maximize profitability while protecting sales performance.
  • Analyze marketplace data and identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with PPC, Inventory, Creative, Catalog, Operations, and Sourcing teams to drive improvements.
  • Expand successful products across Walmart, Shopify, and Amazon Canada.
  • Resolve marketplace issues related to listings, inventory, pricing, compliance, and content.
  • Improve internal processes by documenting SOPs and scalable workflows.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central.
  • Experience owning a product category, marketplace account, or commercial P&L is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Amazon FBA economics
  • Buy Box dynamics
  • Amazon fees
  • pricing strategy
  • contribution margin
  • marketplace analytics
  • Ability to make independent commercial decisions based on data.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Availability to overlap daily with US morning working hours.

Nice to have

  • Walmart Marketplace experience.
  • Shopify or multi-marketplace experience.
  • Background in household, hardware, home improvement, or similar product categories.

What you'll get

  • Fully remote role.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Performance-based bonus.
  • Paid time off.
  • Direct collaboration with founders and leadership.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to influence the growth of a rapidly expanding US e-commerce business.
  • Clear career progression toward Senior Category Merchant or Marketplace Operations leadership.

If you enjoy making commercial decisions, taking ownership, and seeing the direct impact of your work on business performance, we'd love to hear from you.
